Lunchtime Colloquium Series 2009The lunchtime colloquium series aims to draw together teachers, researchers and post graduate students working on Korea and to provide a forum in which they can present their research to their academic peers. The papers are expected to be finished pieces of research, such as articles due for publication, recently published materials, completed chapters of a book or thesis, and so forth. The presenter will speak their paper and then a discussant will give a brief response, followed by time for general discussion. So as to best facilitate vigorous and lively discussion, papers will be circulated in advance of the presentation and participants are strongly urged to come prepared with questions. Where, when and howThe 2009 lunchtime colloquium series will be held at least once a month during the teaching period in room , unless otherwise specified. The colloquium will start at 12pm and finish at 2pm with speakers presenting their papers for about 1 hour, followed by a response and question time. We encourage you to bring your own lunch.
